An introduction    This informal introduction is good for the beginner. Most of us are unaccustomed to thinking in terms of how calendars work in general.
(Technical details - TBD)    More technical information will come later, including design considerations and the constants and algorithms used for calculations.
Current date/time    Refresh this page (or the iframe) to get the current date/time (for Earth and Mars).
Convert to MCE    Convert an "Earthly" date (Gregorian) to a Martian Common Era date.
API description    This site hosts an API for handling Martian date/times and interconversion. The documentation is accessible through /api with no parameters.
MarsDate Ruby gem    The API is written in Ruby, facilitated by the MarsDate gem which defines MarsDateTime.
